Letter from Philanthropy Vice President

Hey everyone! My name is Morgan Kate Keller, and I am serving as Gamma Upsilon’s Philanthropy Vice President for 2025! I am so beyond excited to serve in this role and have the opportunity to work with the Kindly Hearts Initiative and the Athens Area Homeless Shelter.

The Kindly Hearts Initiative is the umbrella for Alpha Xi Delta’s national philanthropy. Through our philanthropic efforts, we strive to support children and teens experiencing foster care and homelessness. Alpha Xi Delta chapters across the country support our Key Impact Organizations: FosterClub and StandUp for Kids. The Gamma Upsilon chapter fundraises throughout the year through events like Letters of Love. Gamma Upsilon also works locally with the Athens Area Homeless Shelter. We support our local impact organization by hosting percent nights, volunteer events, and the Double Blue and Gold Gala.

I am so excited to be able to lead Gamma Upsilon’s philanthropic efforts nationally and locally, and I can not wait to see what we achieve.
