Letter From Membership Vice President

Letter From Membership Vice President

Dear Potential New member,

My name is Maddie Buckley and I serve as the Membership Vice President for the Gamma Upsilon chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at the University of Georgia.

I am so blessed to be able to welcome you to the Panhellenic community here at UGA where you will find lifelong friendships and girls who will be by your side through all of the ups and downs of college—and beyond! My sisters at Alpha Xi Delta can't wait to show y’all everything our sisterhood means to us and has to offer!

My experience as an Alpha Xi Delta has completely changed my life. Not only have I met the most amazing women that I get to call sisters, but I have also grown so much myself! My sisters have shown me what it means to be a selfless, loyal, graceful, and driven woman and I am beyond blessed to know them. The bond I have with these women is irreplaceable and I am so excited to see you all find your home the same way I did. These women make me a better leader, a better sister, and a better person overall. They have been there to celebrate all of life’s highs, and been there for me to lean on through all of its lows. I could not have asked for a better group of girls to call my sisters. Not only do we have this bond within Alpha Xi Delta on UGA’s campus, but throughout all of our chapters throughout the country. The love that Alpha Xi Delta embodies is like no other I have felt in my life.

With formal recruitment coming up, I want to express how hard my sisters and I have been working to prepare to welcome you to this incredible community. Formal recruitment can be a challenging process, but I encourage you to make the most of this opportunity and everything that each chapter in the Panhellenic community has to offer! We can't wait to meet you this August! If you have any questions about the formal recruitment process at UGA, please don’t hesitate to reach out!

TFJ,

Maddie Buckley
